Azo dye is a synthetic dye widely utilized in the textile and clothing dyeing process. It is employed for coloring and printing various natural and synthetic fibers, as well as paints, plastics, rubber, etc. Under specific conditions, it can decompose and generate over 20 types of carcinogenic aromatic amines that alter the DNA structure of the human body through activation, leading to lesions and cancer. Dye intermediates, also known as intermediates or aromatic derivatives used in dye and organic pigment production. The azo dye intermediate dryer developed by Jiangsu Bohong Drying Company effectively aids users in drying azo dye intermediates.
Firstly, the working principle of the rotary flash dryer designed specifically for azo dye intermediates is as follows: hot air enters tangentially at the bottom of the dryer creating a strong rotating wind field propelled by the stirrer. The paste material is fed into the dryer via a screw feeder where it undergoes dispersion due to impact, friction, shear force caused by high-speed rotating stirring paddles resulting in rapid crushing of block materials while being heated and dried through full contact with hot air. Dehydrated dry material ascends with hot airflow; large particles are trapped by grading rings while small particles are discharged from its center towards recovery using cyclone separators and dust collectors. Undried or larger materials are thrown against walls due to centrifugal force before falling back down for further crushing and drying.
Secondly, equipment characteristics specific to azo dye intermediate special rotary flash dryer include:
1) Organic combination of swirls fluidization spray grinding classification technology.
2) Compact size allowing for high production efficiency enabling continuous production achieving "small equipment but large output".
3) High drying strength coupled with low energy consumption.
